Lazymodecomics's News

Hey Newgrounders,

The new issue for Who Saw The Deep has been released, I waited a little to post about it but hey, I'm sure I'm forgiven.

We're three pages into Issue 2: Homecoming and we've picked up a lot of outside comic work so we're only uploading on fridays. Enjoy the new issue, drop some comments, show me some love. Also, we added some grey, go us!

See you in silico

Issue 2: Homecoming

Who Saw The Deep - Issue #2

Posted by Lazymodecomics - May 26th, 2012

Greetings People,

We have done it! We completed the first issue of Who Saw the Deep. Nothing like a hardboiled cyber-punk adventure starting out with a bang. The first issue Hangman was officially finished today along with the last minicomic. I'm damn excited about which is why I can't think of anything better then to show everyone on Newgrounds.

Issue #1 Hangman is 24 page issue following the adventures of Gene Foster, head of security of the mega corporation Insilico. Issue #2 starts up on July 4th, around a month from now. Stay tuned and enjoy the updates that pop up here and there. To everyone who's been following the story, voting, and supporting my art. You're amazing and keep it up!

See you in silico

Below is the first page, how it all starts.

P.S. Find out more about the characters by finding the hover-text on each page.

Hey Newgrounders,

Here is another graphic novel update on my part, for my novel Who Saw The Deep. We're already up to page 14 and everything is moving along nicely with the artwork.

I've entered into NATA and I'm doing my best to finish it on time, hopefully I'll succeed. But, unfortunately, my priorities remain keeping food in my mouth. So! Work is starting to steadily flow in and I'm excited about that. (You should be excited for me, cause, you know. . . You love me.)

But, stay tuned for more updates every Wednesday and Friday. Also, stay tuned for my entry round submission to NATA.

See you in silico

Go check it out. =]

Hello Newgrounders,

I'm here again to update you on the progress of my graphic novel. Currently there are 7 pages uploaded onto the site, including the one just updated today (so get your asses over there and check it out). The new updating schedule is Wednesdays and Fridays so book mark Who Saw the Deep and check it out on those days.

I also made some twitter accounts for some of the main characters and others including Erik Wikstrom, techNo_ir, and, of course, the main Who Saw the Deep twitter account. If you're into the twitter thing you can find certain hashtags, within the comic, to bring you to information that the characters relay. As of now the common hashtags are #whosawthedeep and #seeyouinsilico, read the comic for more of them.

I'm excited about this project and look forward to the feedback I get form the Newgrounds community. I do advise those who like slapstick humor and simplistic artwork to stay away. The nove is really detailed.

See you in silico

Graphic Novel "Who Saw The Deep" - Update

Posted by Lazymodecomics - March 9th, 2012

Greetings Newgrounds,

Yes, I know, I'm an asshole. I've been promising animation but I've actually been swamped with so many ideas and projects, in an attempt to come out alive, I latched onto a few of them and ran with it. "Who Saw The Deep" is the one I latched onto the strongest. "Who Saw The Deep" is a hardboiled cyber punk noir that takes place in the near future. We follow the main character, a detective named Gene, as he investigates a complicated murder mystery revolving around a groundbreaking new technology.

My other projects are animation! I can't promise any day they'll pop up but I assure you, you'll know. They're 90 second short animations involving a cat and a dog, you'll enjoy them.

If you haven't figured it out by now, the website is.

I made a comic book company where I'll be uploading a comic a week for the first of many series. I just made the page on Facebook today where I'll be updating status and where you can view the pages. Here is the link: Joke Comics

It's not very often you find some awesome concepts like this. Definitely something to take a look at and support.

Love,
